I've seen at least 10 theories regarding Hellman, but the report is not yet fully translated and until then most are reserving final judgment on it. Collection of the bra clasp and knife have been repeatedly discussed here, long before C&V's cursory analysis, and your "body of reputable scientific opinion" countering C&V’s conclusions will undoubtedly surface in upcoming appeal documents, and I do understand how conspiracy theorists tend to not have the patience to wait since they've already figured it out.

I tried to post this just over two hours ago, since which time there has been plenty of other activity on the MDF:'I find it odd that conspiracy theories are being cooked up here about Hellman's decision but not about the recovery of the bra clasp and the knife. Everything Conti-Vechiotti did or said is right out in the open. If they got it wrong a body of reputable scientific opinion will surely form around that viewpoint. The same cannot be said about the two crucial items, neither about the manner of their recovery nor their handling, nor the improbabilities which arise if they are what they purport to be. nothing wrong with dissent, but you do realise that the board's been subject to many "attacks" from from those wanting to disrupt the discussion here and prevent the truth from being widely known. It's no secret that PR operatives are being paid to protect the killers' version of events.

Not sure about taxes and the like but I am not in breach of any stated policy for posting on this site, from which I infer that maybe there is an unstated policy. I wonder what it is and why there might be any need for one.
